Message: Yes, in fact my son was just getting over a broken foot when he died. We think that someone ran his foot into something pushing the wheelchair. He had really weak bones. It is caused by years of anti seizure medications. It is a big problem because the breaks are very painful even though they may not use the limb very much. I would be sure to have it X-Rayed and proper pain control for her. They have to have the medication, so there is nothing that can be done except trying to be extremely careful. Tim had several breaks starting in his teens, Tyson only had one. Good Luck!

Message: HIlliary has had a broken foot, strange place it was at the top of her foot below her toes.We have no idea how it happened. This was when she was still walking with help.
Her docs told us to give extra calcium and when they put her on birth control they made sure it was one to increase bone density.

Message: Hi thanks for that, Shania is now to stay in her wheelchair as her motor skills are very bad and for the fear of her hurting herself or falling over but at home i cant keep her in the chair so its walk with her watch her and help her as much as possible, if she doesnt get angry with us. I know that these things cant be helped when they hurt themself but i do try to make sure that she is safe.
