Subject: swelling Name: deborah Date Posted: Oct 13, 08 - 2:00 PM Message: Hi, Hilliary woke up this morning with her right hand almost double the size of her left. SHe has a fever but can not see any signs of a bug bite. With her hand propped up today it has gone down some but it is still swollen. SHe also has blisters popping up between her fingers on her right hand.(the smae ones she has gotten on her feet) Any ideas of what we can do? or what it might be from?

I was told by a nurse that it's not common but can happen with fevers. We put band-aids and gauze over the blister and made sure his hands stayed dry. The swelling went away and the blisters healed once he was better. Hope this helps.
