Message: I will post a followup when I get power (i'm on borrowed internet time). For now I have no power. It has been a test of battery back ups and generators. Also of body temp control. I feel it was better to stay than leave. My daughter would not have done as well. I can't complain too bad as we are doing better than others and have good support.
I do know this so far: If you buy a generator, buy at least 5000 watts or better. I juggle recharging equipment like crazy with the current undersized generator I have (but I'm glad to have it).

Still no power, but a cool front is due tonight, woo hoo. What a welcome relief.
I have a freind about a half of a mile away with power, so charging equipment has become somewhat easier. While we can't go stay there, we at least can wash clothes and check the interenet occassionaly.
