Wondering if anyone has taken their child to a chiropractor. We had someone offer to do this for Jacob but I have never been myself nor taken any of my children. Is there a possibility this could help with his tone loss (walking more hunched over) type of thing? Any thoughts would be appreciated!

I took Clifford when he was 5, before he was diagnosed. I did it because I was going and he usually went with me. My dr had a daughter the same age who he worked on and I thought I would see how he liked it. He didliked the popping sounds so we did not keep it up.
I can't say if it will help Jacob. I know for myself it improved my range of motion, lessened the frequency of my headaches and helped with sciatic pain during pregnancy.

I took my son many times over the years. Especially when he was having a lot of seizures. The adjustments seemed to be helpful with the soreness, especially his neck. I don't know that it did anything for his Batten issues, but it helped some of his aches and pains. It is important you find one that you are comfortable with. There are many types and styles of adjustment and some are more gentle than others. You definitely want someone that is very into the whole health issue and having a background in sports rehab is good. They seem to really know what they are doing. Nancy
